Reggie Jackson On World Series Tix: “I Need Two”

TMZ has video of Reggie Jackson outside a New York hotel yesterday that is more than a little embarrassing, regardless of the circumstances.

The piece starts out lame and actually peters from there, until Joe Morgan shows up at the end to do something he’s never done in over two decades of broadcasting: provide entertainment when there was none. (more…)

RAB’s parade meet-up details

You see that little star? That’s where we’re going to meet-up for the parade tomorrow. Specifically, it’s the northwest corner of the Beekman and Nassau Street intersection. Here’s the map so you can zoom in and stuff. Joe and I are shooting to get there around 8:30-9 a.m., but you’re welcome to come whenever.

The parade comes right up Broadway, so we’ll have to finagle our way over to get a good luck. I’m not 100% certain, but I believe they’ll set up a big screen inSource: River Avenue Blues RSS Feed

Yanks-Angels Game 3: Creepy Weaver Time

Jered Weaver will be pitching this afternoon for the first time in 10 days while his counterpart, Andy Pettitte, will be going on seven days rest. The extra time off probably makes no difference for Weaver, but it’s huge for Pettitte, who suffered from a “tired shoulder” in mid-September.

Andy is also coming off easily one of his best starts of the year, but now that the Angels are earmuff free and back in the sunny, comfortable confines of Anaheim, it has the feel of a game Source: The Big Lead RSS Feed
